With the disappearance of the Prime Minister that instructed his Minister to the "demolish the NBN", and that Minister now in the top job, is it time to revisit and ramp up the public discussion of this major public infrastructure project, the philosophy behind ubiquitous Internet access and the changes to the technology behind the delivery of the network, from that originally proposed?
There could even be a discussion on how the mandated structure of the NBN might have contributed to the accelerated consolidation we have seen in the Telco industry.
I was hoping an NBN question might come up on the last ABC QandA, but there was nothing.
Maybe Delimiter could revisit or update the rather telling article about the quashing of NBN discussion on QandA as a way of encouraging them to broach the issue:
Or are people just bored of talking about it?
